Within these teams, we employ staff who are instrumental in the development of our Data Mining tool and edit portfolios and whose expertise in medical claims and insurance technology is unmatched.

The Research & Development (R&D) team has grown nearly every year since 1996 and consistently analyzes industry trends, payment rules and existing edit performance to create current and historical claims data housed in our system. Multiple members of our R&D team have 25 or more years in claim processing and analytics.

Our internal Analytic and Intelligence Group (AIG), which was created in 2005, models the output created by our R&D team to ensure edits are functioning at 100% and claims most likely to be overpaid are prioritized in our inventory. Today, Accent knows that through scoring and proper treatments we can always find ways to improve.

Our ongoing enhancements, inventory variance detection modules, and champion/challenger testing methods are illustrative of our philosophy of always seeking to perform more effectively and efficiently- constantly engaging in a never ending iterative process of testing, analyzing, adjusting, and implementing.
