Did You Receive a Letter? If you’re an insured…
There could be several reasons that you’ve received a letter from Accent. Overpayment Recovery We may be attempting to recover an overpayment from you; a mistake may have occurred in the claims paying process which resulted in excess money paid on the claim. If you are the recipient of the excess money, we need to return that money to the health insurance payer. To speak to someone about an overpayment, please contact the phone number on your letter, and please have your account number handy. If you do not have your letter, click here. Third Party Liability We may be investigating a third party liability situation. If you or your dependants were involved in an accident that was the responsibility of another party (another auto insurance carrier, homeowner’s policy, or malpractice lawsuit) you may be in receipt of money that needs to be returned to your health insurance payer to reimburse them for medical costs that they paid up front on your health situation.
