Accent has raised the bar again in 2009 as the first and only vendor to offer a complete post adjudication, pre-payment identification and validation solution, called PreVent.
This solution offers payers the ability to identify areas of mis-payments before the payment is made to the provider thus increasing recoveries and reducing costs immediately. Unique from other pre-payment services in the market today, Accent’s solution is more than just a rules based or a coding based application. With PreVent, Accent utilizes view-only system access for manual validation of each potential to assure that quality overpayments are returned to our clients.
Subsequently, Accent is able to offer our clients a service comprised of a wider breadth and scope than other services currently in the market. Accent’s service includes extensive Coordination of Benefits (COB), Duplicate Payment identification, as well as payment-rule based methodology (i.e. Assistant Surgeon and Co-Surgeon reductions).
